About me

Paolo Battistutta was born in San Vito al Tagliamento on 11 September 1985.
He completed his studies in 2004 at the State Art Institute E. Galvani in Cordenons (near Pordenone), with a diploma in advertising graphics, photography and engraving.
He began painting in the early 2000s, discovering an authentic and strong creative and expressive urgency.
He held his first personal exhibition Il Sole nudo (Naked Sun) in 2013 at the Foresteria Abbaziale Hall in Sesto al Reghena (Pordenone) curated by Pro Sesto coommunity of Eva Comuzzi, followed in 2014 by Un’asurdità non viene mai da sola” (Absurdities Never Come Alone) at the Arte Fuori Centro Gallery in Rome, curated by Anna Soricaro.

He subsequently took part in several group shows, receiving considerable critical acclaim:
2009 Arti nel Bosco (Arts in the woods), Torrate (Pordenone);
2009 Braccia Rubate (Stolen Arms), Spazio Bevacqua Panigai (Treviso);
2010 Municipal Gallery, Auronzo di Cadore (Belluno);
2011 Galleria Civica d’Arte Celso & Giovanni Costantini, Zoppola (Pordenone);
2011 L’arte che ti interroga (Art Asking You Questions), Spazio Espositivo Linea d’Arte, Trieste; 2013 Dieci minuti di silenzio (Ten minutes of silence), Barletta Cultural Centre;
2013 Orchestrazione Portogruaro (Venice). (Orchestration), Russolo Theatre.
Between 2016 and 2017, Paolo also painted portraits of Mario Balotelli, Bob Sinclar and Javier Zanetti.
Paolo lives and works in Villotta di Chions (Pordenone).
